Installing on Low Energy / Textured surfaces

To ensure proper adhesion on any low energy surfaces, specifically the Seat / Tank area applying enough heat is CRITICAL for a long lasting product. It's recommended to use a heat gun, and not allow the surface temperature of the material to exceed 212F.

You need to see the dimples showing through the material to get proper adhesion for the very low energy surface shown below:

If you experienced peeling after riding and the material has not chipped, you could probably take another try if you bring the material back to room temperature, hit the area with a heat gun and gently peel the vinyl without stretching. Once removed, try sticking it again right away and press the vinyl on firmly using more heat. Once installed, again hit the area with post heat until you can see the dimples showing through the media.  Please reference the attached photo for example. 

Post heating! Use a standard heat gun or propane torch to heat specific pieces up to warm temperatures, but be careful not to get too hot. The rule of thumb is warm to the touch. Once complete, re-apply pressure over the entire piece with a squeegee to ensure adhesion/bond to low-energy plastics of the snowmobile.
